You need to get into the practice of opening the door very slowly. Its the change in temp that causes is, same as for yorkshires. Open slowly, smoother drop in temp, still risen yorkshires and cakes.
And they have flipping tea towels with Aga wrote on the front!

It doesn't matter what you do...you just cannot disguise that dip in the middle:rotfl:

The verdict on today's bottling - we both tried it and also some of the stuff that MG drinks - mine is the nicest and most drinkable :D

I know where this years goosies are going now

The soda stream trick didn't really work too well but that could be that the bottle wasn't full enough

How did you make the gooseberry wine?
Just having a bottle of the mystery pink fzz.

Two minutes till I am officially a year older.:eek::eek: Share it with my twin cousins, friends Dad and fourp. :D
Very MSE day. Costco ( Did say :hello: to HG as we passed) with my DGS - he loves all of the samples. Today was free small Easter eggs. He loved it - "Nana, it's chocolate". Endeared himself to the person giving them out. Now have enough for Monday nights sleepover for three of my DGC (DD and OH going to gig) plus a few extra. :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Mystery shop restaurant visit for dinner which was excellent, best one so far. :D

    A perfect comp.:D

With the price difference on the cereals being 'significant', I just wanted to ensure I had enough items. No glitch on this - just good enough for me that I'm a getting a realistic voucher back from it.

9 items on your receipt qualify for comparison Asda tesco
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemonade (2L) £0.17 £0.17
    1x ASDA Gravy Granules (200G) £0.20 £0.20
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemon Toilet Cleaner (750ML) £0.27 £0.27
1x ASDA Smartprice All Purpose Liquid Cleaner (1L) £0.25 £0.25
    1x ASDA Smartprice Sparkling Water (2LT) £0.17 £0.17
    1x Nestle Shredded Wheat Bitesize (750G) £3.18 £1.59
    1x ASDA Smartprice Apple Pies (6PK) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10
    1x Kellogg's Crunchy Nut (750G) £3.14 £1.57
Comparison total (compared products only) £7.98 £4.82
    +£3.16 cheaper

Of course, not a perfect shop really, as I should have bought 10 Flumps, together with 2 of another item, to compare against T's 12 for £1:rotfl::rotfl:.

    Vs S
1x ASDA Smartprice All Purpose Liquid Cleaner (1L) £0.25 £0.80:eek::rotfl:

    Vs Morrisons
1x ASDA Smartprice All Purpose Liquid Cleaner (1L) £0.25 N/A:rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

M's Savers All Purpose Cleaner (1L) is 50p. However, it is obviously best vs T (which is where it was!).

Vs T, but also vs M:
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemonade (2L) £0.17 £0.17
    1x ASDA Gravy Granules (200G) £0.20 £0.20
    1x ASDA Smartprice Lemon Toilet Cleaner (750ML) £0.27 £0.27
    1x ASDA Smartprice Apple Pies (6PK) £0.50 £0.50
    1x Barratt Flumps (12G) £0.10 £0.10

    Flump also vs Sains 10p:rotfl:.

Yes, they did scoff all the last apple pies far too quickly:mad: - they are meant to last for at least a month!
Hopefully, this will now be one pack I am getting to last the month.

On the other shop, the Rim Block is, obviously, also vs M at 20p (not Northern Ireland though) as well as T at 20p!

After my shopping today, I hope that no cereals now proceed to go onto glitches. But anyway it has been very useful to spending some APGs and getting something worthwhile (new APG) back from the shops, whilst I await us to use up some more items from the freezer.

I had an unexpected £4.60 back from a womble earlier today:T. Which very much helped to go towards one of those shops. Really need them with A being high priced:rotfl:. It was the only good one I had - all the others turned out to be much cheaper in A! - and they bought some alcohol packs that compared to a few pounds less in Sains. Not my price £15 vs £13 - I would much have preferred £15 vs £10 - or even less:D - but it was good for me.

It's a miracle it's any flavour rhos. I was making two at the same time . A lemon cake and soaking fruit in tea for a tea loaf which I'm making tomorrow.
Put lemon cake in oven and soaked fruit in tea and put that to one side.

40 minutes later I found the sugar which should have gone into the tea loaf mix, and thought I'd left it out the sponge mix......are you still with me?:rotfl:

So I opened the oven to throw out the cake .......the one I thought I'd forgotten to put the sugar in .......and realised I had indeed put the sugar in but caught the bowl with my oven glove and the sugar went everywhere:o
Put the cake on a plate and turned it upside down....it slipped out my hand and the plate smashed:o

    Keep up at the back:rotfl:

Anyway....just grab a slice ......I'm putting the kettle on:)
