does anyone know if the champneys manicure kit has gone to 90% off in store? my store had loads but now only 2 with battered up boxes & still showing on the SEL as £19.50 but i didn't have time to get it price checked
I'd imagine the manicure set will remain at 19.50 till Valentine's Day is over but I'd prefer to be wrong.:rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0 -

I finished my 2nd cycle of chemo today. So I'm a free woman next week and the chuckle brothers are on half term. We are off to Geneva for a short break so the geeks can go and drool over the Hadron colliderI desperately wanted to take them on holiday but they don't do sun, sand and sea so the particle collider it is
I'm still trying to wrap my head around what it is
.
I'm looking forward to it
DS2 is anxious
Do they eat chicken nuggets there?
Will I be able to understand what the people on their telly are saying?
Will Bluebear make it through the airport scanner without losing one of his carefully sewn on (not by me) legs?
It will be an adventure!
That's just what you need FC a holiday away with the familytime out in the warmth will boost your spirits girl.
DS2 will be fine as I'm sure there will be chicken nuggets to be hadThere's no place like home

Cold and crisp and bright here.
For anyone wanting their daily dose of math:

I can see what they mean about it being confusing - but for many shoppers price is not the only consideration, volume is also an issue - 20 eggs here would be overwhelming (unless they were chocolate ones!)

I'll be honest I don't have time to catch up
bubbs I hope your operation went ahead and went well, hugs to those that need them and happy birthdays to those with birthdays this week!
Not the most exciting thing, but I went to Sainsbos last night to stock up on break room supplies and they had two packs of star doughnuts (raspberry filled and chocolate filled), reduced to 30p instead of 75p. Grabbed about 8 packs for the greedy gits at work :rotfl: Also some non MSE 8 packs of Toffee Crisps for £2. They asked me to stock up, might as well get a pack of chocolate I fancy nicking a bar from'I solemnly swear that I am up to no good'0 -

Yes, for solo shops I have often thought of putting my laptop (with 3 websites and 4 calculators open on the screen) in the babyseat on the trolley :rotfl:
As for shopping with DGKs in tow, forget it - the only place you get to linger is the toy sector, and by the time you extricate them from that it's a case of grab and pay and go. Price = irrelevant, freedom = priceless.:rotfl:“All shall be well, and all shall be well and all manner of thing shall be well.”0
