also on the Bella Italia facebook page today is free pancake day. You have to go to their website and register and get a code word. Its a limited amount of free pancakes so they will probably all be gone 15 minutes after they open.

but I suppose if you are going to Manchester to get your free coffee and free doughnut it might be worth dropping by ...

OH has been doing some sort of course in Brum today and yesterday so he is not due back until late so no pancakes today - its on days like this that the empty nest feels very empty -

facebook and twitter are full of creative design and photograph your pancake competitions if anyone is feeling inspired.

It looks like I cant get to Waitrose until possibly Thursday or even Friday by which time COS might have taken down their free offers or Waitrose has run out of the free offers so there is nothing left to buy

I won a pancake making kit yesterday from a twitter draw - you had to say if you were making pancakes from scratch or faking it with a packet - I sent them a photo of the ultimate cuisine sluttery a Betty crockers bottle (very out of date but I am glad I hung onto it now :) )

one of the places I test for sent me an email regarding testing of various ladies hair removal devices so I put my name down for the epilator - there were very limited number of devices.

in the meantime I thought that I had better grow some leg hair so I've got something to epilate. I am starting to think hair growth is stifled because the legs don't see the light of day for 6 months from October/November through to March/April they are showered in the dark and encased in thick wholly tights and leggings and then its dark again at 5 in the afternoon.

no sign of the epilator so it looks like I've not made the list despite replying and completing the survey as soon as it arrived :(

which reminds me I am sure there was some sort of shampoo as well but no sign of that either ..
