The Disney baby products were on an mbuy 6 for £5 in M. That looked better as they have been straight £1 before. The 6 for £5 was on M's baby event.

Obviously better after the event:rotfl:. Now straight 75p, which is cheaper than the mbuy pricing worked out at. I should have known that an mbuy price would be too high:(.

I did see the Water Filled Teether earlier at 25p. So, maybe they will fall as they clear them out, who knows?

With CoS I believe you just upload a photo of the receipt/delivery note the same as instore. For CS you link the account through the QC website.

Definitely, if it's on an 'event', it is on a popular offer. It must therefore be an overpayment* as that's the way they make their money. So, avoid all "events" (which are their descriptions after all) and probably avoid many "sales" as well, as the price probably went up beforehand in order to come back down to not as much as it was before it went up in order to go onto the 'sale'.

The above are probably good starting assumptions.

Avoid a lot of the RTC shelf, judging by my Ms earlier - the prices I saw on the "reduced" shelf - breathtakingly high:eek: - I think it's mainly a storage area for items whose prices are way too high that people think are "reduced" to a good price and to get people to buy them at those still high prices. The examples on my shelf were a 6 pack of crisps at 95p:eek: (I'm looking for 50p or below) and a 24 pack of crisps at...wait for it...£2.95:eek:! My idea now is £1.24 or below on 24 pack:rotfl:. Well, actually, paying 50p for 6 is £2:eek: for 24! I must lower my 6 pack price:rotfl:.

*And without compensation to ourselves as other places will be even higher:eek:.

No, i think you have to remove the memory card, fold the receipt up really small and put it in the slot the memory card came from.

    That's a bit 2008 :p

The SP Bitter equivalent has also gone down in price in M by 1p. (But that is far far outweighed by some of the price increases I have seen elsewhere in the store - for example Dairylea Dunkers £1 offer has ended and therefore they have gone back up to £2.24:eek:. But would anyone buy in M at £2.24?)

I mustn't forget about the price changes, especially the important ones!

I am nowhere near finished with that list. That list:rotfl:. I've effectively got the expired items, as far as I can, crossed off the list again. Lots of new things to add later.

I am doing a bit of 'hoarding' with the M list, as I sometimes do with things in RL:o - and it would be a problem if I didn't have a clearout from time to time! Always, whenever I have a clearout - I don't need something for months or even a couple of years and, then, when I get rid, it would have come in useful two days later. I chucked stuff out before - and then, days later, someone wants something and... that piece of information that is in what I chucked out and would have been useful if I still had it at all! I have to manage without. And I do.

Anyway, the 'hoarding' issue is this. Those Christmas items - which, whilst some of them are clearly still around in M, I doubt that others will be. Time is now getting on and... eventually a point comes at which I must delete them. Does anyone really have the mince pies, the Christmas Pudding (that said, I think I did see a few of those at the back of a store's RTC shelf only a few weeks ago - so it's conceivable they may still be there particularly as I don't think they were price-marked) or the Kipling Winter Whirls, Fancies and others still in their M? I've got rid of the Selection Boxes - I've concluded they were quite mean anyway and, even at 50p, I've removed them now. That Mars one I bought, that was supposed to last until July, turned out they wasn't much in it IMO - just about six small bars - I had one, someone else had one, and then :mad::mad:they had all but one of the rest - and then I had one and that finished the whole box!:eek: So, it went, very quickly, within a day of opening it:(, just like that. Waste of money if you ask me:rotfl::rotfl:. No, it was alright - but it did not last! And there is, definitely, no replacement. I am not spending 50p after 50p after 50p. No way, not into that trap and that game - it does, over time, add up!

Anyway, I am therefore perhaps 'hoarding' a few too many items on the M list - I doubt whether the Festive Bakewells are still around? - someone tell me they are! - but, things like that, I do probably need to get rid if they are no longer available anywhere. Otherwise, they surely cannot be available throughout the entirety of this year? A point will come when, probably prematurely:(, I need to kick them out.

Lots of individual sweets packets on 2 for £1 ("Selected confectionery" it says - whatever that is!), the type that might be in A's 3 for £1 with the Wine Gums. Not that any of them will work:rotfl:, but maybe, who knows? For now though, I will endeavour to update the list later today - goodnight!:)

Been out but just checked my meal deal & it worked as it should.

Let's hope it does that after the system updates later today or tomorrow.:rotfl:
    :money::money::j

(I will get the meal deal items onto the list - of course I don't know what will work under the new price data but I hope they all do - although belatedly along with the rest of the updating I'll do as I have collected the details of them this time (I hope!). But - don't wait for me as you'll be waiting all day folks! Though personally I would delay shopping until after we know we are on Monday - if the offer pricing appears - I don't think it can for this sort of deal - then, well, I would no longer be buying so I've saved there in a way haven't I? I think it is going to work (famous last words:rotfl:) and even hope that Cookie Dough might be picked up correctly this time - it will not work at the time of posting, we do need to wait!)

Delay on the meal deal, I'm saying. Don't delay on the Cathedral City, I suggested, last week.
