I did not realise how few places cater for vegans, also as a friend said those that do dont do uch normal food a lot is spicy. So my idea is simple home cooked food, like lasagne, shepherds pie, pizza, sasauge mash and beans
and scones, flapjacks and cakes. It seems very popular and I am enjoying the challenge.

Sounds lush. Yes I find it very difficult when eating out as a vegan though a few places are adding choices on their menu, as you say, it is normally something like butternut squash curry or aubergine bake. It is the dairy side of it that is worst, the milk, cheese and eggs  2014 was changing to vegetarian for me and I haven't eaten meat/fish since then but taking the extra step to vegan during 2015 felt like a step too far at times. It has totally wrecked my weight loss, well that together with my lack of mobility and depression. I have put almost 4 of the 5 stones I lost back on

Got a wedding of very dear friends to go to in June so I started back on slimming world plan, but not going to class, last week and lost 3 1/2 pounds this week so feel more back in control :D

Sounds like a cable is shorting out somewhere mhoc, probably the rain got into a connection. The silly thing is when BT buried their cables they did not put them into conduit, which means they do not have an easy way to replace them!

As for your broadband, that may continue or it may steadily become non-existent.

At least they have BT onto it, the amount of times we have gone out to a customer's house where BT have tested the line and found that there is no dial tone

Thanks for this, it makes sense.

OMG if we loose the broadband I will be a screaming wreck :) :rotfl:
Our broadband is pitifully slow anyway, it does no take much for it to freeze and stop altogether ...

If it's only spam calls you get what's the point in diverting the calls?

Voicemail is held on a server so if anyone leaves you a message you it'll still be there when your landline works again. The only time it would be a problem is if you have a physical answer machine. No point over complicating things when you don't need to

Odd times one of the offspring rings on the landline so they have been told to ring a mobile or message.

Yes its mostly spam calls but we all live in hope of someone more exciting ringing :)

I have some receipts again. The result on this one just caused me a single laugh:

    Here's your voucher for £0.01Why £0.01?

    So, I'm a member of the 1p club again!:rotfl::(

I was wrong - Hill's Fruit Shortcakes do compare against M, so the mix and match with Fig Rolls, for example, should work.

    Vs M
    1x Hill Biscuits Fruit Shortcake (250G) £0.50 £0.40

Comparing against M the way they should, they bought A mbuy:(. In fact they bought A mbuy on a lot of things so I thought it had no hope. It's possible that the individual price in M has risen from 40p to 45p as I had two SELs, in one of my Ms, for that same product today - depending on which part of the aisle you looked, it was either 40p or 45p - may have increased to 45p as it is part of 2 for 70p. Or maybe it was 45p, the APG had that in half their stores but 40p in the other half, and they took lowest price - who can tell? I've no idea - I work off the M mbuy (as 'best' price).

The receipt was very messy indeed and I shall get rid of it.

In case you are wondering where the 1p comes from:

The cost of putting those packs of Twix on the receipt is the difference between a voucher for 1p and a voucher for just over £1.10!

    No good vs S:
3x ASDA Chosen by You Wafer Thin Cooked Chicken (200G) £3.00 £4.50

N/A vs everywhere else on this one. £1 each on A mbuy. However, Bernard Matthews Chicken Slices (220g) in M are £1 straight. So, 20g more for same price (and not having to buy mbuy!). I don't know about Bernard Matthews though - I'm not liking them of late - I don't know, the quality of the Turkey in particular seems not very good - I prefer the A own brand ones. I don't know what BM have done - it's supposed to be a branded one but the own brand version I'm finding to be a lot better. Cooked Meat is one of the things that I need to see in the store just before I buy it in any event. It's something that I wouldn't risk on home delivery/CC, because you don't know that they are going to pick a good cut.

    Vs M
    1x ASDA Food Bags Medium (100PK) £0.67 £0.67
    Vs T at £1:eek:!

Quite hopeless though. I saw there was only one mbuy on the receipt, so I thought maybe it stands some chance. Then I looked at the items on the receipt - the only one I could see quite high priced was the crisps at £1.50, then I looked and they're the item they bought on mbuy:(. But I see they have bought an odd number and got one at full price. Doesn't matter - not going anywhere anyway:( (M's mbuy on the crisps could even have got worse now - think it now might be £1.50 and 3 for £4.00!).

25p voucher offered by the APG:(. The wrong "I Can't Believe..." spread bought:( - there it is now, ready to compare badly vs T, S and M. Only 'good' vs W and only good there as W is N/A:p:rotfl:. That's going to be a recurrent I feel:(. Unnecessary purchase of 2 flavoured milks - I though buying one would contribute more to the APG! However, it's strange as on the receipt they have bought 2 each at £1, but the comp. is appearing as an mbuy price. Makes no effect on that anyway. Looks no good for HD/CC (buying one only) as a.com has useless £1 r'back across them all!:(:( The only good is that, now, they bought a single Cathedral cheese:rotfl:.

The 6 pack Crisps - a bit expensive on £1.25 equivalent price! And that's the mbuy! Nothing like putting them, as now appears to be in M, onto an "offer" and increasing their price! In fact that new "offer" of 3 for £4, according to msm, is the highest price they have been in M. And nothing like picking up two of the Muller Light 6 pack multipacks, as I saw one customer in M at the shelf doing this afternoon, no doubt because they are on 2 for £5. They go down to £1.92 or £1.88 each! On the other Mullers btw - the Muller Bliss Corners and Muller Greek Style Corners - 4 pack versions - that were £1 last week. Now gone up to 2 for £4! Never stops does it?

Mondays in M are sometimes a good day though. You sometimes get the giveaway clue of an OOD SEL being left on one of the shelves - such as, in this case, on the Muller Bliss in one of my Ms. Or at least it was a little farther along the aisle - they'd actually got the £1 old Muller Bliss price on the shelf immediately below where some other yoghurts stood. So, £2.67 and 2 for £4 and then, move along, and if you are observant, then see the old SEL - "Muller Bliss" on it - that gives the game away:rotfl:. Probably just for one day. They will remove that very soon, I've no doubt!

Probably too late now, but noticed on Hukd discussion on Tate that Ocad0 have reduced 30 packs of Finish to £6 - £6 CoS until 9/2 so would have been free. If only I had looked before midnight and placed an order :(.
