Sounds like you had a busy weekend Michael!
What type of car did your Drew get? How exciting!
More blackberries picked on the walk home from parents after work today so washed and packed into the freezer alreadyI also found some chopped apples in the freezer....itching to make either a crumble or a apple & blackberry crumble tray bake...will wait until the weekend and then share the baked goods
Pinecone credit of £3 cleared so have requested it to Paypal, prolificsnuw at £15 but that £10 survey won't be finalized until 4th so will be on next months overpayment unfortunately.
No gym today so cross trained for half hour and took a walk to gf parents & back. Using the old slender tone whilst watching coronation street now. I've started a nice notepad with fitness plans. First page dedicated to weight & measurements and then workout plans incorporating both cardio & weight training.
Porridge & jam for brekkie as it's dropped a bit cold out, Leftover dhal mixed with some leftover tinned spuds and some spinach for lunch today. Inner was YS chicken tikka kebabs with a carrot salad, spinach and some wholewheat noodles & sweetcorn. MyFitnessPal says I need to eat more however I'm pretty stuffed!!
Debating dinner tomorrow: we have frozen turkey mince so maybe courgetti and normal spaghetti and a turkey bolognaise. Will have a ponder.First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Morning KK, our whole house suffers from a cat who has to sleep on our beds, she is a foreign white (which is an all white Siamese) and a total diva, she gets to sleep wherever she wants or howls until she gets her way. The kids take it in turns throwing her out when she gets too annoying, she just goes and howls at the next bedroom door! she is 13 now and has always done this, put your foot down while they are little :rotfl:MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Morning Kittenkirst
Think I'm going to buy an apple tree once the garden is more sorted and maybe plant some blackberry bushes too - apple and blackberry crumble sounds amazing!
We ordered a VW Tiguan for Drew. It a 2ltr diesel DSG (Automatic) - My Golf is the DSG model and Drew loves driving it so he's decided to make the switch from manual to automatic too. After initially deciding to play it safe with silver or grey he changed his mind and decided on Caribbean Blue instead, a colour we haven't even seen in real life, so fingers crossed we like it!
Decided to hold off on ordering furniture for the time being and will concentrate on getting the flooring sorted first. I think we were feeling a bit panicked about sales ending this week. Had a good talk about it last night and agreed that these sales are a bit of a con and there will be further price reductions in the future so will keep an eye out. We want to be able to build up savings as much as possible for the time being so I've taken out a credit card with the post office - 30 months 0% on spending - so this will come in handy just in case we see any bargains! £30 cash back with quidco has already tracked so fingers crossed that will go through.
I'm not keen on turkey mince in it's minced form, i.e. savory mince or bolognese etc, but have found it great for meat balls or making burgers. Might make some sweet chilli turkey burgers at the weekend now...
Have a great day!

Hi all! Thanks for stopping by and commenting
I'll definitely try to share the baking but I often find it magically vanishes ;P
Michael- id definitely order online if you can get cashback- have you tried haggling in store as if you are buying lots they may give you better discounts in store?
Busy few days as been up north. Gf drove a little on the motorway yesterday and a little today and seemed to do really well, I think she's relieved it's not as fraught as she thought it might be!
Free dinner last night as staying away with work so ate at Bella Italia which is was lovely and we went for a late night strolll which turned into an hour after, we were too late to make the gym by the time we travelled. Went to the gym this morning and cheekily grabbed some toast and jam from
Hotel restaurant as otherwise would have needed to buy a breakfast. Had to buy lunch today but packed yesterday's so not too bad really.
Missed the naughty boys like crazy last night, odd how much they become your family! Gf's mum & dad popped in to feed them and pet them in our absence. The kitties are now snoozing soundly on the arms of the sofa. Adorable things!!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

She's dropped it several times since and it's got worse so I've paid for it to be replaced. £43 so not too bad but still it wasn't budgeted for.
I've got a case like this for my phone. The screen is protected even if you drop it on tiles:

Annoyingly I've lost my really long post from this morning
On the bright side I've lost 1kg, been to the gym today and we have the free meal courtesy of the restaurant from gf's birthday!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Morning morning, I'll try again with yesterday's post!
Work is still being pretty pants but I'm trying to make the most of it. It also helps I have Monday & Tuesday off so a while before I'm back in the office
Went for the free meal last night after gf's birthday meal issue and it was just fab. Food was great, service was great & we had a right giggle with friends. Only spent £10 for me and gf on tip and part of cab home
I did however eat so much food and drink around 5 cocktails so I'm now feeling really stuffed and a bit of indigestion
That kilo I lost may just have been gained
Pinecone survey completed this morning and prolific now at £19.45 with £14 pending. I'm really pleased with how this is totaling up so quickly: Pinecones sent me three surveys this month.
eBay bids received on my old purse (that I had thought I would just bin!!) and some watchers on a few items. I have a brand new snowboard (don't ask :A ) so debating whether to pop that on gumtree or wait until around Christmas time/snowboarding season?
Off to read some diaries for some inspirationFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
