Sorry to hear you’ve not been well - I was thinking of you! Make sure you take it gently as you ease back into things, you don’t want to overdo it.
How exciting to be thinking about the wedding! Splitting between OPs and wedding savings seems very sensible.Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Glad to hear you finally got to Paris, but that's rubbish, but not surprising, that you've both got Covid. Sorry to hear that you're both quite unwell with it. I hope you both start to feel better soon. Will fiancee be eligible for a 4th jab?Mortgage free 16/06/2023! £132,500 cleared in 11 years, 3 months and 7 days

Thanks for the get better vibes. Fiancé should be able to get the 4th jab as she is classed as extremely clinically vulnerable; need to check with her doctors once she’s back to full health again.
Its been a super quiet weekend for us unsurprisingly; we were due to go to a friends 40th, yoga, gym and a family get together with people from Manchester and London. instead we have sent our apologies and simply stayed in blankets with the cat most of the days.
Ive been feeling a bit cabin fever-y, so i have booked in our first wakeboarding session of the season with my 3 friends (the ones who went with me last year) for mid May time, booked a hike date in with my bestie for end of April, booked in a toughmudder with a friend (am actually scared of this!) and have signed up for a free taster Stand up paddle board session in late April! So whilst I can’t be outside and doing things, ive got some planned in.
The tough mudder was free to enter, after we all volunteered last year at a local TM event for the day, so that saved a fair old penny (£119 to be exact! :O ), however its a 15km 30 obstacle course so i need to up my training to be anywhere near ready to do it in August! nothing like doing something that scares you hey!
Had an email through (not unexpectedly) regards the Foo Fighters tour cancellation for June; so i will have a refund coming through shortly for that. Really sad news with Taylors untimely passing and totally understandable for them to cancel the tour; life really is too short.
Ive been on Prolific a little on Thursday and Friday so have had £8.50 and £6.18 both of which have gone straight to the wedding pot, alongside a £2.33 quidco cashback.
Ive got a market research call booked in for Thursday evening after work that pays £65; £43 has gone towards gel nail polish remover to take off the nails i had for Paris, and some other bits for doing my own at home. The remaining £22 will go to the wedding or overpayment pot. ive not decided which yet.
First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!2 -
