One quick thing- I found that Zizzis are doing a ‘spin to win’ game at the moment until 5th March. Everyday you spin the wheel and gain points for either prize draw entries to win pizza for a year or for food vouchers/money off ones. Both gf and I are doing it daily (it takes two minutes) and We’re both more than halfway there to a £10 Zizzis voucher to use on a date night :heartpuls
Might be worth checking out! They have £20 vouchers up for grabs which is our ultimate goal but still £10 each is pretty good and can have a nice main meal out together in late feb/MarchFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).
New forever home- Sep’21 £309,449 @ 2.05%. Plan to clear it before 30 years!!!!!!0 -
Will take a look at the zizzi wheel thanksMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Thanks for the headsup on Zizzi's, OH has a birthday in a few weeks, see if I can build it up for that.
That holiday sounds wonderful.0 -
Good luck for the Zizzi wheel everyone- I’m now up to 695 points, only 205 until the £10 voucher.
Small OP of 43p today and the standard mortgage payment of £810.20 went out today. That makes it £1205.21 paid to the mortgage this month so far. £3 Pinecone has been credited that so have requested a withdrawal so that will be OP straight away and more surveys have been validated on Prolific so I’m at £18.86 with £2.74 pending. I m trying to be patient and wait for that to clear before withdrawing.....will see if I can hold my nerve!First home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Morning all, busy week for me so it’s been a bit quiet.
Been to the gym twice for weights sessions, been to yoga twice and going again this morning so I’m keeping the activity up
Had to go north to Manchester for day trips twice this week which is very tiring but I had good sessions there. I managed to not spend on my first day trip however yesterday’s I was out visiting sites all day witha two so ended up having to get some breakfast (McDonald porridge!), some lunch (sandwich meal deal) and a coffee for the drive home.
No new ops since I last posted but I have finally withdrawn the Prolific funds as they reached £19.59. Not too bad for free £££.
We have a growing eBay pile at the moment so I need to bite the bullet and get them listed!
Gf just cashed out her £10 zizzi voucher and I am 5 coins away from doing the same. Looking forward to a date night using thatFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Nooo I'd forgotten about zizzi spin to win! Off to play again now, have a good weekendMFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0

Can’t sleep- Hugo came in at 4am meowing & purring so he snuggled down on my chest for a while, then his brother came in and also wanted a cuddle. Ended up with the two boys on my side, gf soundly sleeping away as the kittens slowly edged me out of the bed & duvet. Cheeky little boys!
17p OP made yesterday of change following our weekly shop- we went back to Aldi this week as they seem to sell more of the things we buy weekly- e.g. chicken chipolatas (£1.89- much cheaper than Heck!). Weekly shop came to £15.23 but we’ve had a few little tesco trips mid week so this week have spent £20.27 but we have a nice supply of seeded flatbreads, whole meal muffins and brown thins in the freezer as YS specials bought this week
Our January spends so far are:
£57.07 eating out which includes the £30 Starbucks cars top-up which will last a few months.
£100.82 groceries
£75 boiler service
I’m pretty pleased with the eating out being as low as it is- we’ve been taking coffees to work/on the road with us and being more prepared with snacks for before/after gym/yoga too so we don’t have to impulse buy as much. We’ve also focused on having friends over for dinner more- pushes the grocery spends up but doesn’t ever reach the amount we’d be spending if we ate out.
We have a busy February planned- meal out with my bestie and his gf, a trip to see my brother and help him clear out a few things- I’ve convinced him to let me help him give his flat a ‘spring clean’. It needs a lot more than that but it’s his home and a fine balance between helping him and insulting him- an Indian cream team with gfs mum/aunties & cousins & a birthday party for a friend too. So lots of exciting plans and spending in Feb!
The ‘gym plan’ spreadsheet has been updated for feb already with yoga classes and gym plans working around days of travelling with work/silver classes on a Tuesday etc so I’m feeling planned and organised. Already seeing & feeling a bit of a difference, I’ve lost all of the weight gained whilst I was off work with anxiety which is great, but still a few Kgs to go until my holiday clothes from a few years ago fit againFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Thanks for the Zizzis heads up, am up to 165 coins and OH has got one too (as does my mother). You're so close!
Haha, the bed does really belong to the cats.0 -
Michelle- you’re totally right, who am I thinking that the bed is mine, it belongs to the Kittens- found one of their toys and a cat treat under my pillow this morning!!
WAHOo! Managed to get enough coins to bank a £10 Zizzis voucher. We have a meal out with a Work colleague who we see once every three months or so but I was debating not going due to lack of funds with the braces and holidays being paid for.
Luckily I can now go as the friend will be happy wherever as it’s really just a good chance for a catch up so woop!
I got a little competitive on the Fitbit challenge today so after yoga I only had 3,000 steps and someone had overtaken me in the weekend warrior challenge- I’m now at 19,000 steps for today after marching whilst watching some tv on Netflix together and cooking the dinner.
Dinner today was a bit of a Mish mash- gf had half a chicken pasty (spicy one) her dad gave her yesterday with spaghetti hoops and leftover mash from burns night supper. I had pasta with pesto, asparagus, courgette & mushrooms fonished in the oven with some light mozzarella- turned out delicious!
For Sunday lunch we were spoiled as gfs mum made my favourite Guji dish- akhu shak which is potatoes, chillis, bitter gouard, aubergines & onions split and filled with a spicy paste and baked in the oven. It’s just gorgeous so I was in tummy heaven today :heartpulsFirst home- Oct’16 until June’21: £170.995- Overpayments made £13,784 (25% extra!).

Our cat is only allowed on the bed Xmas morning and Mother's Day now, she used to drive me mad trying to sleep over my face during the night :rotfl:
Well done getting to £10 on zizzi's , do you think you can use it with other discount codes?MFW 67 - Finally mortgage free! 💙😁0
