Great progress with the MBing and I loved the story of Hugo and the towel. One of ours likes to chew towels - the squeaking noise is horrendous, but I think it probably feels nice/helps keep them clean? We have to be careful not to leave decent ones around or they end up with tooth holes in them :)

  • I love the cat stories.... I've never heard of a cat trying to steal a towel or chew on one but I can picture them and it's put a smile on my face :)

Well done with the MBing. with that and the bitcoins you are really thinking outside of the box (well it is outside of the box compared to what I've been doing) and I wish you every success!

Ooooh Afrayedknot I’ve not had any come through yet. I’m awful at checking text messages though so will just ignore the siren texts from the bookies! :D

MadVix- Hugo’s not got to the chewing stage with them but it’s a funny little game every morning. Both Kittens (Well cats now, it’s their 1st birthday next month!) have a silly obsession with the sinks- any sinks. As soon as you open a bathroom door they sprint in and up into the sink to either try and lick the tap, dig to Australia or just have a lay down in there.

    They do make me giggle!

Got to silver class really early so been for a brisk chilly 45 minute walk and now in Starbucks using the free WiFi with a caramel macchiato (naughty! They are doing five points for every visit at the moment and I brought my refillable cup so a naughty little treat!)

Thanks Charley- I’ve left the Bitcoin/crypto currencies in the gfs hands and she’s constantly watching it rise and fall. Fingers crossed for a small return- although doubling my money would be better;P

Kitties sound very cute - ours have never shown an interest in the sink, but maybe that's because it's near the bath and they have had some horrendous experiences with that (when they were younger and had upset stomachs... long fur gets messy!).

Charly, the chewing makes the most awful noise - sets your teeth on edge!

  • Our cat likes to jump into the bathroom sink and tries to lick any water on the tap or sink hole, such a strange boy. Luckily I think that's the only sink he does it with.

MV, I can imagine. My mum used to rip old towels into pieces when she was decorating and the sound used to send a shiver up my spine so I imagine I wouldn't be too keen on the sound of kitty chewing a towel

  • Your cats sound adorable. Ours is not interested in towels but is a firm believer that bathroom time is a shared experience. Sometimes she cries at OH until he walks her to the litter box. It's hilarious.

DD's cat drinks from the toilet if you leave the seat up .

Woken up by the howling gale that is blowing outside and I now can’t get to sleep!
Kittens are off galavanting somewhere which is making me quite worried- they are pretty tough though so I’m sure they’re fine!

Managed a 6km run at the gym last night and a good sweaty yoga class so I’m challenging the body and getting good value from my memberships :D

Had something odd happen with my matched bet yesterday in that it shows as placed but then it didn’t win or lose so my balance stayed the same but annoyingly I lost a £30 free bet. Bah! Next game ive bet against it on Saturday so hopefully Sunday I should see if I’ve made the £40-£45 profit the website suggests from these offers.

Working from home today so will hopefully be a NSD. I’ve been slipping a bit as yesterday I bought a greggs coffee between gym & yoga (£1.60) it was lovely and cheaper/healthier than a latte but I shouldn’t have bought it- it’s a slippery slope frittering on coffees too often. I’m normally fairly good and only use my Starbucks app so it builds free points and I get discounts, plus it’s topped up sporadically so I have to eeek it out over months. Will be more mindful of this again!

I would feel too guilty buying a coffee between gym and yoga, you have earned it
