  • A money transfer card is your best bet. Virgin and MBNA are two possibilities. MBNA have an eligibility check for applications that doesn't leave a 'hard' search on your credit file unless you accept their offer and proceed to full application.

I'm struggling.... how did you 'forget'?!

    Surely they would've sent letters?!

No they don't send out a reminder letter. Buy Now Pay Later items, their duration and their due date is on the statement. When the due date is passed it's listed as normal credit on the next statement.

so how do you forget the pay later part when you're looking at/using the item(s) every day?

Slightly crafty, as they send out a statement, yet the "buy now pay later"amount is not shown on the statement till it's overdue, so once it's listed on the statement the interest is already due  they do tho put/hide it on the back/another page of the letter, so you have to go looking for it. They do not request payment on the statement.

You're supposed to know when it's due and it's also on the statement. I had loads of Buy Now Pay Later items some such as my fridge freezer for 12 months and I never forgot any of them and paid them all off on time. Look at it in terms of a 0% purchase card and you might have a better idea of how it works.
