New claim for jsa appointement tomorrow got call

i got 2 calls today just reminding me about the time and appointment and they also asked me which i thought was strange how was i supporting myself since my last sign on 8 months ago and if im in training is this normal or are they trying to do some sneaky thing?

    It'll be largely for DWP statistics, ie when you sign 'off' you can fill in the name of your new employer, in the booklet, but you don't have to.
    Please be polite to OPs and remember this is a site for Claimants and Appellants to seek redress against their bank, ex-boss or retailer. If they wanted morality or the view of the IoD or Bank they'd ask them.

    It's not in the least bit strange or sneaky.

    They'll want to know why you left your last employment.
