    For future guidance to others.

    (i)The OneStop sign has disappeared.
(ii)Wendy has a picture of a OneStop sign but no proof it was the one outside that OneStop. So in future, make sure you get close up and geographic pictures to show that the pictures you have are of the relevant area.
(iii)OneStop are a tenant. What authority do they have to commandeer a chunk of the landowner's land and operate their own parking regime? If they have a clause in their lease so allowing, then they can overrule the PPC. If they don't, then they have no right to put up such signs. So ask them.

Marks are still evident where signs were and One Stop have been helpful and have confirmed in writing that they have taken them down. :-)

Says this at the end of the thread:

PCN in a private car park in England/Wales? DON'T PAY IT BUT DO NOT IGNORE IT

USE THE 'FORUM JUMP' ON RIGHT, GO TO THE PARKING TICKETS FORUM. READ THE 'NEWBIES' THREAD.
Do NOT read old advice to ignore, unless in Scotland/NI.

Dont pay, but do not ignore....

Isnt that conflicting what all have said about ignoring the debt collector letters?

"Dont pay, but do not ignore.... " refers to when you got the parking notice ... don't pay it and do not ignore means that, you don't just pay it, and do something about it which you did and the IAS replied.

    YOU SAID ABOVE
Since then, further along there is a sign which is above your head.

Are you saying that after your ticket another sign was added

    No.

You CAN ignore debt collectors. End of.

You should not ignore the ticket, but read the newbies FAQ which explains all about ignoring Debt Collectors!

OK, can you find out the date they took them down compared to the date of the ticket.

The way this is shaping up and with all the other comments above, there seems to be a severe error in the IAS decision regarding the requirements for signs

No where I parked I saw the Onestio sign, I read it and moved in to the shop. Only when I got ticket did I look around and there was another sign close to the one stop sign which was really small writing and walking further round the car park could see duplicate signs - which are around 6 ft high.

Still not sure if you were parked on the Onestop area or not. Please clarify.

If so, what was the free time in that area and did the PPc have any authority to ticket you there? Still a bit messy - in my mind anyway.

    No.

That is the situation if you come here after the initial ticket/NTK - As you have missed that and done the IAS, your options are much more limited - To post four really, unless you can interest the landowner enough to have them reopen the matter with the PPC.

Errrrmmmm. no, that's my signature on all my posts, see below!

Why don't you just follow hoohoo's advice, how can this keep going round in circles when hoohoo has told you what to write. Also others have told you that even a small claim only adds maybe sixty quid so it's not exactly a risk too far.
PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).
