Nearing the end of the month, as in all the bills have come out now so its just grocery petrol etc spends left. There isn't as much left as I thought. I haven't made a big payment to Barclaycard like I planned and I really need to get the boat tickets at the end of this month, that will be everything that is left so no overpayment. I'm annoyed we seem to have slipped after managing on much less.
All the bills are paid though and we do have £400 left to pay the holiday tickets so maybe I shouldn't worry about it. I can make an overpayment next month, just want it all gone asap0 -
I hear you! I have done not so well these last two months. CC is now at a point that I can't pay it off monthly like I have been doing. My online shopping has exceeded my ability to clear it immediately. Not too bad, but I must stop before it gets that way.
Holidays are important. I just had a weekend away and didn't realize how much I needed a break. It was wonderful.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

The holiday is important, OH works 60 hours a week he deserves a proper break which it really will be. It's beautiful little island but getting there is so expensive, at least we don't need to worry about accommodation or food once we are there just some spending money for ice creams and if we eat out and OH wants to hire kayaks one of the days and need to book car parking too. Another allotment holder has agreed to let the chickens in and out and give them their food and water whilst we are away and keep the eggs he collects but we will get them a little gift to for doing that, especially in summer when its early mornings and late nights.
I've started a new healthy eating plan so hoping to have lost a few pounds before we go 7 weeks to go so could be a stone lighter by then if I can keep it up.0 -
It just sounds so wonderful and to know that your chickens are well care for is an added benefit. No at home worries.
I'm on a healthy eating plan too. I've lost 8 lbs so far. I am certainly rooting for you as I know you will feel great about yourself by losing a few pounds. It's just such a lift to one's spirits.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

oh well done. I lost 3lbs this week but that's the first week, expecting 1-2lb a week from now on. Going for a run sat and swimming mon though so maybe the extra exercise will help too.0

Another interview tomorrow - Don't get any then they all come along at once. This is for dispensing assistant in the doctors pharmacy, which is what my most recent job was doing. It's 4 days a week. I really want this one, would be perfect.0

You have experience so that gives you such an advantage. Best wishes for a great interview!
Great news on the weight loss.Overprepare, then go with the flow.

Oh that did not go well, I was far too nervous. They have 2 more people to interview and someone next week and unless they don't really want the job I think all of them will interview better than I did. Find out next week.0

Well waitrose have been in touch and want to offer me 18 hours a week. So think I am going to go for that unless I hear back from the pharmacy and give up the cleaning. Checked entitled to and we will lose most the tax credits but should still be a bit better off after petrol and the kids are getting older so tax credits wouldn't last forever, better to earn it if possible. Will be much better for when we eventually want a mortgage too.0

That is such good news!!Overprepare, then go with the flow.
