Virgin Media and Netflix

Hi Everyone,

I am currently looking for a broadband provider for a new house and I have been looking at Virgin Media's Big Easy bundle. It says under the TV section:



"Great TV stuff included…

• Hours of on demand streaming with Netflix and VEVO on TiVo"

I might be missing something, but on the face of it, that looks as though the bundle includes Netflix? I asked Virgin and they confirmed that Netflix is not included in the bundle. They said that I can stream Netflix if I had a Netflix subscription. I originally assumed that this would be the case, but isn't it a bit misleading to say that something is 'included' if you have to pay extra for it?

It's not included. The app is included, and that's creating marketing at it's finest. There is Netflix app, but because the TiVo is fairly underpowered,it's clunky as hell.

If you have an account, the TiVo represents one way to use netflix. But if you've a PS4 or another streaming device like Roku or Chromecast that has a Netflix app, they'll work better.
