Does the CEC concur this alleged 40% annual increase?
If not, you need to look into why not.

Not sure which region you are in, but when I looked yesterday unit price for Eon was less than 10p (think that was for the Eastern region)

Edit: Just noticed you are in Worcestershire. Is that Midlands? If so, unit rate should be 10.091p per kWh
