It has been talked about for 2 weeks now, the dates were given in the weekly email on 20th January 20160

If you only initiated the switch yesterday, you should be within the cooling off period and can cancel it.
Then start another switch as a better deal comes along.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the In My Home MoneySaving, Energy and Techie Stuff boards. You can't get the Big Switch 4 tariffs unless you have pre-registered - it's too late now if you didn't.
If you pre-registered, you would obviously have known about it before.
(Pre-registration would either have meant you signing up to the CEC or the weekly email. The weekly email had details this was on the way)0 -

It's worth pointing out that if you only switched yesterday you will still be in your 14 day cooling off period for your would be new supplier. You're well within your rights to cancel your transfer to that supplier and then take part in the Big Switch.Official Company Representative

Are you sure it'd save you money?
I started a switch in December - the British Gas option for me would cost £42 than the supplier I'm switching to.Tim0 -
Thanks for reply's guys I do subscribe to weekly emails but having looked at some of the responses to B E S 4 I can honestly say I did not see this but hey I've managed to stop my application for new provider. A question for you guys on my energy club account it still says that I have a pending application thus not allowing me to apply for the combined switch does any one know how long this status will stay on my account before it recognises that my application has been terminated thus allowing me to apply for B E S 4. ?0

Send an email to energyclub@moneysavingexpert.com and ask them to remove the switch in progress against your account, explaining why.
Was completed for me in under 10 minutes.0 -
