Best lightweight pushchair?

I have a Maclaren XL pushchair which has been used for two grandchildren and is now getting a bit tatty. We have another grandchild who has just turned 1 and I look after her a couple of times a week, often taking her out for a walk.
The thing is, that the pushchair I have now, apart from looking rough, is really quite heavy to hoik in and out of the car boot.
I wondered if anyone can recommend a good quality, lightweight pushchair which will lie back (essential as she's only young).
Thank you for any help

I let my mind wander and it never came back!

We have a Silver Cross Pop which is 8 years old, has done for both of the children and is still going well.
It folds up so you can carry it over your shoulder with a special strap and you can put it down with one hand. I love ours!0 -

I got a Mamas and Papas one super cheap. Some of the models are only £35 ish and it lasted for both of mine. I know they're normally an expensive brand, but I'd buy the same one again.0

There are loads of lightweight buggys and a trip to Mothercare or John Lewis means you can try a few out.
I went with an uppababy g-luxe because it was very light, stands folded on its own, laid flat, has a removable washable seat cover, is talker than many (as we're very tall), and was long enough for my daughter who is tall for her age (her feet were past the footrest in a couple when she was only 14 months). However you could probably find something that meets your needs for less money as you won't be using it daily.Don't listen to me, I'm no expert!0 -
Can't beat the Quinny Zapp.0

I have a bugaboo Bee which I bought for my third child. I wish I had bought it for the first. I love it and worth the slightly high price. You can also buy lots of them second hand which shows it will last.0

I WOULD NOT recommend ANY Mamas and Papas pushchairs.
The outer wheels at the back wear out really quickly making the buggy VERY hard to push as the two sets of back wheels pull in opposite directions.
Mamas and Papas don't care about this, although they know that it is a problem with their pushchairs (why else would they sell the wheels as spares?)
Just don't purchase one.0
