Copying iTunes Playlist to Samsung Galaxy S6

Hopefully I have posted this on the right board.

I have been trying to copy my wife's playlist on iTunes to her new S6, without success so far!!

I have tried five or six apps that allegedly allow you to do this, but none seem to have worked.

Has anyone successfully managed to copy a playlist over, and if so, could you share the secret of your success

iTunes may have changed since I last used it, but...

Open the playlist in iTunes
Select all so all of the music in the playlist is highlighted
Open windows explorer and navigate to the Samsung phone
Locate the "music" folder
Simply drag and drop all the music from the playlist in iTunes into the folder which should then copy over all the music files directly to the Samsung, thus they appear in the Samsung music player

If the above fails then you'd probably have to do it file by file;

Open windows search
Type in the name of the track then drag and drop it into the music folder on the phone as above

Obviously depending on how many tacks are in the playlist this may take sometime.

Thanks for the suggestion - I didn't think of copying directly from the playlist to the phone.Will give it a try later when my wife returns home.
