Yes Onzey I can ask her to email, But wanted to sort it out if I could. I also might try on another pc . Another friends one as I only have the one

Came across a thread on a forum from a Windows 7 user with a very similar problem, including the dvd showing zero size and the dvd read with no problem on a different machine (Windows XP) so you might be in luck on another pc. (Windows XP preferably

When burning a DVD, this is usually the information that comes up:-
How do you want to use this disk?
* Like a USB flash drive
Save, edit, delete files on disk anytime. Disc will work on computers running XP or later (Live File System)
* With a CD/DVD Player
Burn files in groups and individual file scan't be edited or removed after burning. Disc will work on most other computers. (Mastered)
Ask your friend to burn any further discs as a USB flash drive.I think this job really needs
a much bigger hammer.
