If flight delay compensation is applied for with the operator and received, can you still claim for delayed flight through travel insurance in addition to this?

    yes you can...although many policies only pay a minimal sum such as £20 for each 12 hour delay and nothing for under 12 hours...if you have a premium insurance it may have something a bit better
