Hi Guys,
I usually come on here to ask questions of you wonderful people but in this case I just wanted to share an experience that should hopefully save you some money.
If you have been on Three's "One Plan" contract, you may have received a letter advising they are phasing it out (apparently due to misuse of unlimited tethering on all you can eat data packages).
Just a warning, they tried to double my contract price from £15 to £30 (SIM only) with that letter (so make sure you read it if you're on Three). But you can haggle them down, especially as a longer term customer.
Same rules apply as with Sky etc. Tell them you're leaving, and fight with the call centre employee until you can speak to a manager. Then you get the good offers. I'm back down to £14 per month now.
Good luck!

Just noticed this is very old news re The One Plan being stopped, for some reason I've only just received the letter this month, maybe a few others are late too?0

I got my letter today. With discounts, my monthly cost used to be £14 on the unlimited plan.
I rang and got offered a 4GB data plan, unlimited texts and minutes
But decided to go with £16 for 8gb data, unlimited texts and minutes.
I'm happy, it won't change anything for me.
The call centre person checked my usage and it is between 2-3GB / month.* * * Catriona's Credit Card Countdown * * * from -£16k to debt neutraldom - for my debt diary click here
