What luck have people had with Ofcom complaints? Do I not have any protection as I am out of contract?
There is no basis for a complaint to ofcom.
Beyond minimum term Three can vary the terms of the contract by giving 30 days notice of the variation which I assume is the letter you received.
Equally you can terminate the contract by giving Three 30 days notice so you are not being forced to accept the new terms.
You have three choices; 1) Do nothing and move to the new plan; 2) Contact Three and give notice of termination /action a PAC/ request move to PAYG rather than new plan; 3) Try to negotiate a better deal with Three.
You could ask Three to move your contract number to its PAYG product rather than the proposed plan. This gives you time to negotiate whilst avoiding the new plan costs and your keep you number.0
