A couple of queries if you don't mind

1-
It says 2 unread emails, there isn't any unread. Even when I go to unread folder.
I think it's hiding duplicate emails. I get two freecycle emails, always have, annoying, now when I get them I only get the one email but the 'unread' counter increases by one...

2-
With my Xperia a red or yellow light was showing at the top of the phone when I had an unread email or text or something. Now I have to unlock the iPhone. Can I get the light back?

Not sure about the first question but to answer the second one no, you can't. iPhones don't have notification lights.

If you go to settings>general>accessibility, enable 'LED flash for alerts'.

Query 1. It's a right pain isn't it? I currently have 17 'phantom' emails!

After Googling I found this method to get rid of them....

Go to Settings > General > Mail Contacts Calendar > Tap on your email > Move slider to off

Reboot phone

Switch email back on

Trouble is....the rogue ones start building up again after you do this. I just do it periodically to keep the numbers down.

I wish I could find a proper way of sorting it too!!!
