Close of business is usually regarded as 5pm.

LBG Close of business is 10pm Monday- Thursday. Midnight Friday, then stamped as Monday

    ;)

TSB is definitely the last working day, as I recently went to the FOS about it. They found that although the t&cs could be clearer they did stipulate last working day. There is a thread somewhere.

Edited to add: I did get the equivalent of the interest for the month as a goodwill payment.

    Sneaky!

Didn't want to commit to times as my source (probably the same as yours?) was 3 years old.

It hasn't changed in that time although will concede that source is what sparked my present knowledge

You probably don't have any accounts with Lloyds, Bank of Scotland, or Halifax. If you did you'd know.

    I do with Halifax.
  • Just to say it worked. Got the bonuses :)

Thanks for the feedback. I trust you've already made February's transfers? ;)
  • Yup :) I usually sort it all the first weekend of the month

Lloyds Banking Group, so Lloyds, Bank of Scotland,
It's been posted before on here (by Ed-1 in particular) that for LBG accounts, so long as you deposit within the monthly billing period (so that's up until close of business tomorrow night) you'll get the interest/Rewards paid early hours of Tuesday this coming week.
This might not be your advice but I think it irresponsible to reproduce it as it could easily lead someone to lose a month's interest, as I did for January with BoS . You really don't have a leg to stand on if you complain because they'll point you towards the T & Cs which clearly state:
The Vantage conditions are that each month you must:
pay into your account at least £1,000 during the calendar month
    ;
There's someone on this forum who gets exasperated by people posting without reading the T & Cs, so maybe you should do what he [STRIKE]does [/STRIKE]says?

I have waited 48 hours since posting the thread here https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/5407282 to give you a chance to revise your contribution to this one. A brief look at your posting record shows you were active during the times it was on the first page, so I can only conclude that you are doing too much writing and not enough reading.

    From a recent thread :
my help is not required, so I'll bear that in mind the next time you're asking for help.

    All the best.
Could you extend that to cover subsequent times?
