I am Very Annoyed. My cheap tariff with e-on was up at the very start of December, as you all remember, so I switched to flow after e-on told me they couldn't match the MSE tariff I was on before and that I'd be paying £15 more a month. Well, Flow were only gonna charge me the same amount I had been paying on that MSE tariff so I switched.
Got Martin's Money Email this morning with the new Big Switch and hey, guess what? e-on are undercutting my new supplier by £3/month. After telling me they couldn't.
Now the cheap energy club won't let me switch back because it thinks my current switch is "still in progress" (it isn't)
£3 isn't much so I wouldn't be annoyed but not for the fact I was also getting the rewards scheme that netted me £15-20 a year in vouchers/clubcard points. Taking that into account makes it about £4.50 cheaper a month which, granted, is still only £54 a year but I needn't have had to change suppliers at all!Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100

why don't you email the EON company representative? You aren't allowed to PM him but you can email. He might be able to help?0 -
I came onto say anyone doing Swagbucks, don't forget to redeem your swagbucks from last month.
they are in already.
click on daily goal, at the bottom it has January bonus check your status. This is where you claim them.0 -
Sorry about that, lexbubbles. That's so annoying:(
Malc (is that his name?) has always been so helpful and friendly whenever he's posted on here that I'm sure he'll help if he can. As Aesop says, an email might be a good idea. Good luck:beer:
I hope your headache clears soon and that the long journey won't be too much of an ordeal. I used to travel from Manchester to London quite regularly on a night bus when I was a student and that seemed bad enough but obviously was only about half the distance you'll be travelling.
Have a great time when you're there:beer:0 -
I always get the night bus, CBC! I hate it but not as much as I hate the day bus (what a waste of a day!) and the train is extortionate even in advance so you do what you gotta do for that :money: :rotfl:
I'll slip an email to malc when I get back. The problem here is that the old MSE tariff expired in December and the new one has only just come up? So there was like a 2 month gap there and short of being psychic I kinda had to switch out you know? grumblemoan
EDIT: won 400 coins on a receipthog spin so now only like 600 coins away from a fiver in my paypal!Aqua 0/1850 Cap.One 0/450 Vanquis 0/500 HSBC 0/100
