Unwanted Texts - Help please
Hi All
Recently I have been recieving questions by text from an unknown source, I have been deleting them.
Checked my bill today and they are charging me for recieving them.
This is obviously a scam.
My question, "HOW DO I STOP THIS?"
There is a 700 number showing on the bill who do I contact to get my number derigistered etc.
Thanks in anticipation.

generally contact your service provider to determine the source of the SMS, plus how to stop.

You can check on the ICSTIS site and put the short code in to see what company it is coming from .:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0

Got a response in less than 12 hours staing "Taken off list"
E Mailed phone provider they responded with information about ICSTIS but would not refund text charges but gave me a full ID of the company responsible.
Thanks again

Your network provider generally wont give you money for these texts as they are a third party service which (at some point) you have given your number too usually.
But good result:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin:staradmin0 -

I just got a refund for receiving texts after phoning the number on them and complaining. The company was Transact group Ltd.0
