Albany assistance

I have shown my employer my paperwork but at the moment the stress of this whole situation has put that at the back of my mind until this is sorted. I've emailed the solicitor today hope to speak with them tomorrow. My main concern is that Albanys letter was dated the same day that I spoke to the solicitor explaining that I have recieved & returned the court statement & he stated that was fine & to return it to him. Albanys letter dated on the same day says that they have removed the indemnity on the policy immediately for failing to co-operate & that Helphire who supplied the car will be sending me an invoice for £6k+. But the case isn't due to go to court for another 4 days & after speaking with someone at Albany yesterday who worked in a different department they let it slip that the case will be sent to a debt collector a day after it is scheduled to go to court. Is this their safety net as if they don't get the money from the insurer they will come after me & say that I wasn't co-operating etc when I have now changed everything & now attending court..please advise, many thank you0

Your other thread says you haven't provided bank statements. Anything else you haven't cooperated with?0

I didn't realise individuals would rather behave like internet door bouncers rather than help others. I'm looking for advice & help from people who would rather see justice than wrongful enforcement, that's all0

You cannot do anything more until you learn if your change of mind has come in time - though the letter you quote in your OP would look to mean business!0 -
Thank you for all your help. And apologise for any confusion0

I can't see where anyone has behaved like that.I didn't realise individuals would rather behave like internet door bouncers rather than help others. I'm looking for advice & help from people who would rather see justice than wrongful enforcement, that's all
If you don't like the posts, don't shoot the messenger.
There looks to be no "wrongful" enforcement, unless you truly didn't agree to the conditions that they are now enforcing0 -
I was referring to the post by RS65. Just stressed at the moment0

Hi, but surely they would need my concent before pulling the plug on the case before it goes to court as the name on the case is mine vs the man who hit my car. Their view to abandon the case I would have thought is illegal as they need the permission of the client before doing this?0
-
It would be even more "illegal" were they going round taking people to court in your name without your permission!
(All covered by the contract you agreed/didn't agree)0
