or there is the old adage, if it's yellow, leave it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down.
I tend to leave my loo if I've used it for a onesy in the night and just flush in the morning once one of us has been. Obviously twoseys go straight down.

If you're a Corrie viewer you could have seen Roy in Roy's Rolls making his eco friendly version last night.
He was fumbling around filling plastic bottles with something or other but he reckoned it worked a treat and the resulting flush was now ecologically perfect! He's a scream lol0 -
Wine box bag... drink all the wine first... take from box...open the valve to let some air in... drink the last glass full left in the bag...open the valve under a water tap and fill bag with water. Works as a great bouyancy bag for dinghies too, filled with air obvously! I think the more uses we can find for wine bags the better, hic.0

My friends were telling me that when they had no water in the floods - It took 5 litres to flush the toilet  I would like to use the thing you can put in the cistern to reduce the water consumption in a flush.
Please could you tell me what they are called and where do I buy one?
Many Thanks x

Most water companies provide free water hippos - however they do not work in really modern toilets as they are already designed to be water efficient - therefore putting in a hippo or brick would not provide enough water to flush the waste away.0 -
