Which of you has complained yet to the retailer head office? Tesco, if it's them or similar large retailers, can cancel these at Head Office and have clubcard records showing if you or family are regular customers they should be protecting from this scam.
 Be assertive.
If it's a multi-store retail park start with the biggest player first and complain at ALL of them even if you rarely shop there (e.g. we've seen Matalan Store Managers at retail parks cancel PCNs for people who didn't even shop and said they were browsing). And the landowner and/or managing agents - read newspaper articles when Googling the place, to find who runs it. They can cancel these harassing charges without a doubt, because it is THEM who have contracted Highview as agents.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Personally, my car wasn't parked in the Tesco area, it was a multi-shop area with Pets at Home, Argos, Maplin, Currys, Halfords, Bensons for Beds.
The main reason for going there was Pets at Home, they were pretty indifferent about my complaint 0 0

Halfords have been good if you complain on Social Media and can show proof of spending.
When you say 'they were indifferent' are you just talking about the low-paid Pets at Home staff instore? Head office?
Try BOTH approaches (local and national level) for ALL retailers using every angle including Twitter and Facebook.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

I wrote to Head Office originally - I've taken to Pets at Home's facebook page, that's a good shout...that's a pretty good way to get attention these days
We bought a few things elsewhere that day, but I honestly can't remember what! It was 2 years ago now, next time I'll keep that in mind. 0 It was 2 years ago now, next time I'll keep that in mind. 0

If the letter at all mentions that keeper liability applies and that you are being pursued not as driver but as keeper, then you should contact trading standards, who recently took out a civil prosecution against CEL. They failed, but only because the evidence was not watertight, so are not likely to make the same mistake twice.
Totally agree, Trading Standards are biting at the bit to take these scammers to court .... provide them with the ammo
This is in the interests of all those living in Scotland0

            Hi folks,
I too received a threatening demand for payment from DRP today, parking charge date was in 2013 and now fine is £148.99. Letter states I HAVE to pay this fine by 08/02/2016. When the first letters arrived early 2015 I ignored them all as I had read similar comments on this page and thought the matter closed but now another demand has arrived. As I am a pensioner I just need re--assurance that I should continue to ignore any further demands from DRP as I don't want to land up in Court! This company should not be allowed to continue to carry out this scaremongering tactic.. Thanks to all the others who have contributed ..0

Scubachick, consider yourself reassured. Not a thing they can do if you keep ignoring.0
