No Buying Unnecessary Toiletries February 2016

Bare Minerals foundation - HG, seems to be the only think that controls the epic amounts of oil my skin is chucking out during the day atm,
Bare minerals concealer - another HG
Ongaro hair mask - WBA, my hair feels amazing after using this!
Jane Iredale - mini lip stick - WNBA, this was colour change to supposedly suit your ph but it was far to pink!
Bite lip primer - WNBA, this didn't do much in the way of priming and its expensive just as a lip balm!


IN - the Urban Decay Naked Smokey. finally got it as i got a £16 voucher with my Debs card so it made this £22.50 instead of £38. the girl gave me a sample of the primer too so I've got 4 little sachets of that as well.

also - the girl on the counter made my day and i know only you guys will understand! as soon as i asked for it, the girl went "is it for you or is it just to go in your kit?" and whilst i was running an internal monologue of "you think i'm a make up artist?! my make up is that good?! omg!" i realised OH was looking at me like i was a crazy person.

also had a voucher for a little bottle of the new Dior foundation so claimed that whilst i was there.

14. Crabtree and Evelyn Gardeners Hand Cream WDBA. Like C&E hand creams in general but particularly like this herby scent.
15. 17 Falsifeye HD Mascara. WMBA. Found this more useful to use as a second coat as it's got a really good brush for definition but on it's own it's not enough for me!
16. Nuxe Reve de Miel Ultra Comfortable Face Cream. WNBA. Ended up using this as a body moisturiser to use it up and I can smell it on me atm and I really don't like it. It's the first Nuxe thing I've had where I haven't loved the smell.
17. L'Oreal Elvive Re-Nutrition Nourishing Conditioner. WMBA. This was fine. Not the best Elvive I've had but nothing wrong with it.

Threw away a couple of mascaras.

2. Rimmel Endless Lash Accelerator Mascara WBA, just left this one open too long.
3. MUR Amazing Curl Mascara. WNBA. This was a free gift with an order. I tried it but it's really dry and I don't really like curved brushes so given up.

I've also started putting a box together for the local women's refuge. Not taking it there just yet but counting 23 items as GA.

Finally painted my nails again. I use to paint everyday but now it's more like every week. I forgot how nice it felt to have a nice manicure, I need to keep up with this.

I may have mentioned before but BB creams and me are useless. From now on it will be no thank you to those testers.

Had a bit of a pampering session this afternoon - face mask, hair mask, soak in the bath, and now painting my nails, lovely

So a couple of UUs:
- Lash bath bomb of some kind. Too old to know what!
- Last half of Lush Sunnyside bubble bar. WBA, turns the water a lovely colour, feels very luxurious with the fine glitter
- Urban Decay eye primer. WMBA - but have quite a few other eye primers to get through, and a couple of UD samples!

It's one more off my 6 by Spring list though

Hewland and Whittle Rose Soap - part of a gift set I got with ten different soaps. I really love these, the lather up really well and the scent is lovely. WBA if I suddenly didn't have 50 odd bars of soap in the house.

Clinique All About Shadow Trio - this was a gift from a friend who got it as part of a free with purchase set. I could have regifted it but I've kinda fallen in love with the packaging which is ridiculous I know.

I have a pretty small stash these days, but still getting through some never ending bottles of cosmetics that I probably wouldn't repurchase. 148 items in total including all makeup, cosmetics, in the bedroom, bathroom, handbag and office.

TA - Next Just Pink body cream - went off because I always kept it for best
TA - white kohl eye pencil - just, why? what was I thinking?
UU - Umburto Giannini Moose - love this stuff and will buy again when my stash is smaller

I have spent seven hours today (yes seven) sorting out every toiletry item I own and putting them into boxes according to whar they are. I was seriously shocked at what I've accumulated but now that they are sorted properly I can see what I've got and find stuff now. I found several face scrubs and washes I didn't know I had. I found a body shop face cream that had gone funny and smelt odd so I chucked that in swimming kit to use as a foot cream instead. Also gave away about 10 items to mum including 2 duplicate tbs perfumes, shower gels, body lotion, dry oil spray and a tbs body butter and body scrub. Told her there's more where that came from and to help herself. I estimate me and mum won't need to buy anything for a few years at least. The only things might need to purchase are toothpaste, mouthwash, conditioner and deodorants. Plenty for now, but use them quickly. I found a sensodyne toothpaste I didn't know I had also. I have about 10 shampoos that don't have conditioners to use with them, so will get conditioners to go with as required. It was good for me to see what I have, I honestly am the worst hoarder of toiletries, I am embarrassed!

I was very tempted by the superdrug offers currently on, and I did fill my basket online but didn't order. I want to try the body butters but I will sit on my hands as I have about 20 full size tbs butters to get through, I don't need anymore! Definitely won't be ordering. There will always be more offers when I've reduced my stash considerably
