Poor credit score and how to improve

Hi,

I have recently been checking my credit score and its in a dire Position. I've had a few defaults on there and one has dropped off ,supposedly in Nov 2015, and a 2 more are due to drop off in March. My score hasn't gone up or been affected at all? How can I improve this?? So I haven't missed a payment in 65 months, I have a contract phone that is up to date, I have a credit card that I have not missed a single payment and is paid in full every month, I'm on the electoral register, I have a utility account that is up to date and again never missed a payment?

On the subject of my credit card I have a credit limit of £450 and I rarely go anywhere near £200 but Equinox are reporting I have 99% utilisation of my credit card?? I'm confused?

Any help would be appreciated

Thank you

You can't and don't need to. It's a made up number that doesn't demonstrate your credit worthiness.

Query the 99% with Equifax (or Equinox if you prefer, but they are only open twice a year).

Your credit history will improve drastically after March once those 2 other defaults drop off.
