    yes, next time you are told at least twice in a thread started in January that the deadline is 5th April (posts #7 & #8) don't wait until the end of March before acting on the info given, especially when told at the start that there was a 4 year time limit! (post #2)

    Given the deduction is worth between £20 (basic rate) and £50 (old additional rate) per year, is it really worth inviting HMRC to poke their nose through your old tax returns? You might end up spending for more on accountancy fees if they start asking questions. Let sleeping dogs lie.
