Does anyone know of any problems with samsung D500 dropping the signal during a call? i just gone one on o2 and am basically happy with it. except today during a call i get some mingle mangle tingle sounds and then get cut off..
of course this could be o2 or the other persons network but as this phone is only a wekl old i just wondered if it needs returning or anyone else has had similar problems
thanks loops

I kept managing to turn mine off during calls when I first got mine because I was pressing the red 'off' button while I held the phone to my ear, and it makes noises when you turn it off.
Sound like you've done the same :rotfl:0 -
nah, when the other person hangs up it makes the noise.
Ive had mine 4 days and i dunno if it was me but it seemed like it had crashed!
my brother has one got it the day after me and i feel that mine is alot looser than his.Nice to Save. To save it's ____0 -

I had a samsung t100 years ago on 02 and the reception where we are in not the best for 02 and it kept dropping calls, are yopu getting full bar reception? in the end hubby gave me money to get another phone as it drove him mad.The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0

gk172, yes i have a good signal, ive used o2 for 2 yrs now with no probs... just i only got 28 days to return faulty phone, now if its pilot error, theres no probs, but if someone else tells me its possibly a fault with the phone then i need to move quicker....
as im a bit of a text maniac i dont use the call feature too often so it will be a while before i experience this phenomenon again.
otherwise quite a nice phone, i especially like the noise it makes when you slide it, cos then i can catch my 14 yr old out who sneakily uses it...

i would say with these fancy phones, always take out the insurance, it'll only cost you the 60 quid, and if you get it through the network they usually send you a replacement in a few days (well orange does)
hope this helpsNice to Save. To save it's ____0 -
There haven't been too many problems with this model, it seems. But the smallish buttons for people with largish fingers (guys) seem to create their own errors.
not that I'm an expert, just Mrs V wanted one, before opting for E720.

If its loose and shaky and cutting calls then i would take it back then asap, ive had mine for 5 months now and its still solid, ive heard that some have been going faulty with the slider becoming shaky, and if your dropping calls too that isnt right either - but i will say its only a small amount of handsets faulty most are fine. The more i save the more i can spend:rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:0
