How long did the referral take?

You cannot refer for molar ends in London. Please see earlier link.

Rubbish. Gum disease has nothing to do with sugar. You can get gum disease on teeth that have no decay.

Just because the tooth has no decay doesn't mean sugar isn't feeding the bacteria causing the gum disease. Bacteria can't feed on starches and fruits, the need refined sugars.

I can't even start on how wrong the above statement is in every way.

Here is an article on how diet might affect gum disease. Its affects are thought to be the same as in many diseases , a poor diet low in nutrients affects the bodies capabilities to fight disease. http://www.bsdht.org.uk/res/DH%20May%20p18-21.pdf

Smoking, diabetes , are primary risk factors for gum diseas. Sugar intake isn't. The bacteria involved in gum disease are completely different to those involved in decay.

Ps decay is easily caused by fruit , fruit juices and dried fruit.
  • How long did the referral take?

Referral did take a month or 2, but was worth the wait, they were prepared to treat even though dentist was not and did a good job.

I think you need to research causes of type one and type two diabetes .
  • Type one is a disorder of pancreas, type two is when someone has overloaded themselves with food for years on end that the insulin producing cells of the pancreas die. Calorie restriction cures type 2 diabetes. but it is easier said than done.

I think you need to research causes of type one and two diabetes again.
  • Why do you think weight loss improves diabetes?

Search Newcastle University 800 calories diabetes. Was from a few years ago. Type 2 can be cured in weeks with calorie restriction.
  • Because the underlying causes is too many calories.
