I couldnt really comment on the cost of labour because my best mate is corgi and fitted my entire system for £300 but if you need to buy the boiler checkout this website, http://www.mrcentralheating.com/index.html Thats where I got my system from and my brother got his from there too.
£700 for a complete system.0 -
Please be aware that Ariston are awful boilers...mine is always breaking down and gas fitters say they are the worst....I myself am going to get a worcester or valiant0

Sounds a little expensive to me.We bought our own for about £500 but had bother getting anyone to fit it.In the end we had to pay a couple of guys way over the odds, they were meant to be corgi registered but refused to sign the certificate,Just over £800 to fit it(only took them 3 hours).Anyway £1300 all in.You shouldn,t have to pay any more than £1,800 really.
MASSIVE TIP!!!They act like they are doing you a favour by removing the waste from your house, pipes and water tanks etc,but keep it and take it to the scrappy. We got £90 for our old water tank. The boiler fitters got away with 3 big sacks of copper pipes from my house(even though I told them to leave it) and they must have got a fortune for it because last week when my hubby was fixing the bathroom up he took a little armfull of old copper pipes down to the scrappy and got £40 for it."Reaching out to touch the stars dont forget the flowers at your feet".0 -
£2700 is bang on the average price for the job according to the data i have.0

we kinda have a problem with Ariston Combi boiler
bought a renovated house recently and it came with a new Ariston Combi boiler (Mircogenus 27) system. We have had it serviced for winter no problem, but the firm (not British Gas) will not accept it on their annual contract scheme as, to quote the boss "it will go wrong, they are too much trouble". Ariston is cheap(ish) to install if you plan to move soon, as we want to stay in this house we are currently looking to replace with a Vaillant. If we had done the renovation ourselves would have put in Vaillant from the start
If you have got the Ariston in by now you might want to think about getting it on a British Gas contract as we couldnt find a local gas firm to take on ours
as to the quote, not sure, we arer still waiting for quote to do a swop for ours . . .
really hope that helps0
