This morning I overslept and was late for work - and ended up buying breakfast from Nero's (a chocolate croissant and a mango green tea) on my way past as there is nothing worse than having to serve food to other people when you are starving (it was a catering shift) - it was v. expensive, I am a bad person (it was nice though
) - maybe I'll be late next week.......
I've made my debts bite-size too depressing to look at all at once so am handling them one at a time - first up Graduate Loan £1720 paid off! only £280 to go!!!
Money to raise for tuition fees: £3000
When you get to the end of your rope, tie a knot and hang on!!0 -
Every week I have to buy "Proper Diet Coke" not own brand stuff. OH refuses to drink it BUT now that he's swapped from drinking whiskey ( apparently the next bottle with have to be "Proper Jack Daniels" ) to drinking Fosters ( On offer in Asda 2x20packs for £20, not sure when the offer ends though ) I might be able to scrap the coke and buy more cordials instead, much healthier!
Yesterday we ordered in (and had delivered even though we are less than 5 minutes down the road) pizza at £11I agreed to get that particular offer as it is what we always used to get, but after reviewing the menu from now on I'll be ordering a cheaper offer at only £7 which should save us some money and won't leave so much over or half eaten pieces to go in the bin. Although I will admit that OH has taken the remains into work with sandwiches due to a lack of fruit
Creeping back in for accountability after falling off the wagon in 2016.Need to get back to old style in modern ways, watching the pennies and getting stuff done!0 -

My main confession is that I usually make sandwiches for work. However, at least once a week I cannot be bothered and I end up buying a portion of chips and a pea fritter. Yum yumAll my views are just that and do not constitute legal advice in any way, shape or form.£2.00 savers club - £20.00 saved and banked (got a £2.00 pig and not counted the rest)Joined Store Cupboard Challenge]0

that's made me feel a lot better jazzyjustlaw! sometimes I can't face the thought of a sarnie that has been squished along with me on the tube and find myself sneaking off to the sandwich shop!! unfortunately there is no chip shop round here, otherwise i'd probably find myself a frequent visitor.0

Oh I usually treat myself to a bought lunch once a week as long as I can safely afford it. It used to be on a Friday until I discovered everyone does the same thing & the takeaway/sandwich shops are packed & have very little choice left so now it's quite often on a Monday so that I can start the week with a treat. Today it's a cheese/ham/tomato pannini, it's the only time I get a hot lunch (no microwave at work). Sometimes it's as low as a McD's though:oPost Natal Depression is the worst part of giving birth:p

Oh dear my confession list is endless:
Bought a slow cooker after avidly following all your advice, used it for a couple of weeks with everything from scratch then chucked some mince and a BOTTLE of chilli sauce in yesterday - was good though
Made some flapjacks and ate the lot in 2 days (live on my own!!)
My wine bill generally exceeds my grocery bill (oops)
the pizza delivery company know my order before I say anything and I get a christmas card from them (TRUE!)
I am a sucker for an apparent deal - just bought loads of stuff from Debenhams that I didnt need in order to use a voucher for 25% off
and I could go on....................0
