I'm all for eating "free" foods and have sampled squirrel, hare, rabbit, pheasant and even venison (shhhhh :shhh: don't tell the Queen) from fresh roadkill or hunted animals"An Ye Harm None, Do What Ye Will"

Not as bad as my chooks when I was a little girl, I'd spent the time from easter to christmas eve raising 6 cockerel chicks. Come Christmas Day all the family and neighbours were eating chicken and my poor chooks were no more
Apparently I'd eaten Speckle for christmas dinnerOrganised people are just too lazy to look for things
