BT Line Rental Saver

Hi All,

I just received a generic email from BT to advise that my annual line rental saver is up on 16th February. Is it still worth paying annually and what is the price for the coming year?

Thanks

If you plan to stay with BT then it's worth it. It'll save you 10% of the line rental.

There might be a better deal if you switch suppliers though.
    :footie:
:p Regular savers earn 6% interest (HSBC, First Direct, M&S) :p Loans cost 2.9% per year (Nationwide) = FREE money. :p

    It's currently £194.28 I think.

Best to have LRS expired tied in with broadband expiry . Gives you the option of moving .
  • I would usually always say pay to save the money, however I really regret doing it now. We did it for first year as it made sense as our broadband was for a year too. We then did it for second year and our broadband package and line rental are now out of sync, so we are wanting to change broadband due to changing house and as we have already paid upfront we will loose this if we move =( So if you know you will stay with BT for at least another year then pay it. If not, I wouldn't bother. It used to be worth it, but for 10% cheaper, and we now loose out on months for moving, it's costing us more.
