PPI and RockLaw

I applied for PPI through Rocklaw, who had me pay £495 back in July 2015. The Company who are now processing the claim, (I didn't know they were not the same) have just told me that RockLaw have gone belly up and I've lost my £495. Also the new Company have taken 6months, and I seen or heard nothing. Is there anyway I can get my £495 back, b) how do I stand in walking away from this second company ?

What a surprise. This is what happens with so many of these up front fee companies. That is why for years we have always warned people not to use them.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
