T-mobile ending today will I lose the number?

Hello

cancelled my t-mob contract last month which means today is the last day. Called them today asking for a PAC which I was given after some discussion.
I'll use the PAC to move to another network - I'll search today - but I suddenly fear they'll switch off the sim tomorrow and effectively I won't be able to port the number even with a PAC?!

Can anyone confirm? Thanks.

I'm sorry I'm not 100% sure but I think they have to continue your service until your new provider has taken the number.

When the change does happen your number maybe unusable for a few hours.

So, does that mean I should call them and extend it on a daily basis?

Call them and say you have changed your mind you don't want to cancel just yet.

Then use your PAC code to port over to another network. When you use your PAC code to port over, this automatically informs Voda that you wish to cancel your contract with them and there is no need to provide 1months notice so long as you are outside your minimum term contract (12 or 18 months) voda can't stop you.

Once you are disconnected you will lose that number and nothing can be done about it! As mentioned above, just stop them from cancelling it and port over and this will automatically cancel your contract with voda.

    Many thanks!

Spoke to them - they said it would carry on and won't be disconnected even if a PAC has been issued and the contract terminated. I guess it means they are carrying on a daily basis. So that's all OK.

    Many thanks guys.
