Try Herts Insurance who offer various temporary policies. They provide policies for tourists buying cars to take on journeys such as this.

If so, ask them what others do about insurance.


... and can't you each add a temporary car to your existing policies? For example, when I've bought a new car, I've always been able to have two cars insured on my policy until the old car is sold.

Add the cars to your current policy as an additional vehicle, Sister did that for just 3 weeks and 2 days so i expect they would have done 4 weeks.

Possibly not all will though, some may offer less.
