Have Santander misadvised me? And what can I do about it?

Tangentially related, my mother in law recently switched to Santander and also encountered a problem in that Santander decided they couldn't/wouldn't transfer DDs for her and told her to do that herself. In pretty clear breach of the Switch Guarantee, surely?: )0

If your MIL signed the agreement for a full switch and not all her DDs were transferred, she would clearly have a case under the CASS Guarantee.
If MIL said she wanted to keep her old account, then Santander probably couldn't help as looking at their website, they don't appear to offer partial switches.0 -
Quite obviously not looking for tea and/or sympathy. I have plenty of that outside of here.
I'm asking two very clear questions; have Santander misadvised me? And if so, what can I do about it?
The AP thing is really frustrating as I was clearly given the wrong advise there, or I would never have agreed to it.0 -

See post #9 in this thread.0 -
#9 was the OP's post.
Yes, Santander misadvised the OP. Most likely they will deny this. If so, what can be done depends on what can be proven. Without proofs the only what can be done is a formal complaint.0 -
#9 was the OP's post.Yes, Santander misadvised the OP.0

Were you at the meeting with the OP?Will you next suggest the OP was forced by Santander to sign a switch agreement?0
-
I had given my views on the OP in post #3.0
-
Well, I don't see any 'view' on the alleged misadvising, that now you seem to claim couldn't have taken place, and to imply that the OP was lying in the first post.
Can I remind you that one of the topics was "Have Santander misadvised me?"? You failed to address it in your posts, but attacked me when I did.0 -
I don't need to say "you have not been mis-advised" to express that there was no mis-advice in my opinion. If somebody signs a switch agreement and ignores switch confirmation letters, they shouldn't be surprised that their account got switched, and can't hide behind having been given wrong advice.0
