Grr POPLA haven't received it!! And now I am doing my nut because I have managed to LOSE my Proof of Posting!! I've searched 3 bin bags and the wheelie bin!! AS well as my handbag of course.

Any ideas what I can do now? God I'll be glad when this farce is over!!

1) please dont post anything for me ? lol

2) if you can still do the online appeal, do so and attach it as a pdf, using OTHER in the box and put , see attached appeal

parking cowboys website can be used to check the expiry date of the 10 digit code, plus they usually add a few days on before closing check in

Thanks Red x its too late I checked, deadline passed 4 days ago!!

Any ideas of next steps?

are you sure the popla site wont accept it as a pdf ? have you actually tried ?

next steps are "phone the Samaritans" , or hide before the keeper finds you and issues swift retribution

in future, take a picture (or scan) the proof of postage, or both

or are you telling me that you or a family member dont own a mobile phone ?

ps:- what I dont understand is that you had proof of postage but then you go online a few days later to get proof of delivery by putting the code into the website

I dont understand why this was not done, as I always checked its been delivered , never mind posted (whatever it may be) , you knew you had posted it but didnt know it had not been delivered (which they say it hasnt)

Red it seems to be accepting code! Do I put my real name in? Ive put RK's now it says "your name!" after it?

OK! Thanks Red X it accepted my appeal, however, no password has arrived in my email in box, nor any acknowledgement.

nope, cannot tell you what I dont know, other than check the junk mail box

never done a POPLA appeal myself so no experience of the actual process, other than what others write on here or on pepipoo

also, none of this would have been known if they had not sent that letter, so that is a mystery and I bet your appeal did arrive and they have messed up , it is too coincidental to be anything else

I emailed them last night cos no password came through. So 30 mins later I sent email asking if they would send me a password.

Then, 2 hours later a password came through. What a flawed and unnecessarily complicated system!!

Just goes to show POPLA appeals should always be done online not posted.

Next it will be time to see the 'evidence' from the PPC, so let us know what omissions you spot, what sort of signage evidence appears (usually dark and har dot make out signs) and what they spout about the rationale for the charge.
