Are you going fast enough? You need to average at least 4km/h for it to register so if you make a lot of stops that might take you under the speed.Eu não sou uma tartaruga. Eu sou um codigopombo.0

I was walking at a brisk pace, so I thought I was. Didn't really stop at all.
Will try again next time, although I did find it drained my battery really fast too.0 -
Gps is the word I couldnt remember lol.
Just done my spins and won 100 points :j My first big win but only makes up for the fact that I did at least three walks yesterday of minimum 20 minutes and only one has registered on the mapmyfitness thing. Not sure why that is........unless they go on later today.
Am on 782 points so not far off another garden centre voucher and then from then on ...I am in profit.
This time next year, I will have the best allotment on the plot!
Dont think my father is too happy as I want to make it colourful as well as growing the fruit and veg. I keep telling him we need the flowers to encourage the bees for pollination!
Sorry......now I am rambling.Make £10 a Day Feb .....£75.... March... £65......April...£90.....May £20.....June £35.......July £600 -

Got to say though, their choice of linked step counters for Android is awful. I have to use Moves. Moves is ok if you carry your phone in your hand but if it's in your pocket and you don't open the damn app every 10 minutes, it changes all your steps to 'Moving Off' and you can't change it back. Also if I walk quickly, it decides I'm cycling - you can change it but it's a pain in the bum. And it drains the battery like crazy. So that's a big negative. Essentially, it's a piece of crap but I can't justify the £100 for a fitbit for a £5 voucher. It says google health is coming soon, but it's been saying that for months. So lack of linked Android apps is a huge negative.
So for the past couple of days I've been out and about exploring a city and doing the tourist thing. The city is in the UK and I have full 4g and location tracking is on. The first day DH has 16000 steps on his step counter. I have 7000 because I've been too busy to keep waking the phone up and thus, half my days activities are changed to moving off and I don't get the steps. Same thing the next day only my step count resets to 3000 steps so I don't get any bounts. What use is a step counter that doesn't run well in the background? Hopefully they'll add a better one. I do have map my fitness as well, which is a nice bonus.
I've only ever had 25 points from the reward wheel twice and mostly it's 5 points. I usually get 5 points once a day, using premium plus membership it's 3 points per activity, and I usually log 4-6 per day. I've never had a huge win though but an extra 5 points adds up.
I use moves ans its fine. I have mobile data and wifi switched off all day at work and leave me phone in my pocket. In sleep mode. When i get home and connect to wifi it updates my steps fairly accuratly. So works fine for me. Although does run thr battery down.0 -
I think other people were having issues with their Fitbits syncing - mine only registers 7000 steps per day when I sync it, and I can't get an answer from Bounts as to whether that's correct - for example, the other day I did 21K+ steps but I still only received a credit for the 7000. I'm on the basic package but as far as I can tell you should get credits for every 7K steps, just not as many as if I upgraded.
I was going to upgrade but don't think I'll bother now, I emailed my query to Bounts on Tuesday and still haven't had a reply. Can't even open their webpage at the moment! Finally debt free!! March 2018 :j0 -
Yes, Fitbit syncing is very erratic. Have they got anyone to read & respond to comments on here? Has Martin approached them? Although I'm aware he has very little to do with the site these days, unfortunately.
But then MSE did jump on the bandwagon and flood them with new subscribers (still annoyed I missed the extra 700pts by a day) so I feel they should help to address some of these issues.0 -

On the basic package you only get points for 7000 steps.0 -
Got my mapmywalk points to go on! It's always been connected to bounts ok, but I hadn't realised that after the workout, I need to click on the workout and sync it. Thought it would have done that automatically when I saved my workout.
With the basic package, you're only allowed to do one activity per day aren't you? Maybe it might be worth upgrading after all?0 -

It will only sync automatically if you're in a 4G area or connected to Wifi otherwise you have to manually sync once you get home.
Basic package counts 7000 steps and ONE activity.0
