sorry can't help you. Has anyone Mr. Bounts Phone number?
This whole thing begins to look like a one man band.

It probably is and since MSE got onboard and opens it up to millions of people, they now can't cope with the sudden influx of members.
  • Tried using mapmywalk yesterday. It is connected to bounts, but doesn't seem to be registering any points for the 20 mins activity? My activity was a brisk walk, which is thought would still be included?

Anyone else having difficulty with that app registering points?

The points seems to be adding but not showing. Mine didn't update yesterday, but today when I looked in the shop (I"m SOOOOO close to getting a voucher), the new total showed at the top with yesterday's points added so it seems like it's just a system glitch rather than something to worry about.
  • mine have gone on this morning from yesterday, i went to the bounts site then synced my fitbit

Im getting sick of the reward wheel again. Just had 18 spins plus free spins and won twice. Its 3 -1 odds of winning according to the wheel segments. I normally seem to get around 6-1. I think one of the reward sections should be removed to make it less misleading.

Mine are still not adding on at all. Doesn't even show when I went into the shop? Ah well, I'll try again and if not then I'll contact them.

Mine always go on next day, sometimes in the afternoon.

The last couple of times when I've won anything, it's only been 5 points. I still can't believe I got 1000 points once! :j

Finally got my first voucher so that's great. It arrived fairly quickly. If I keep this up, the premium plus membership will have paid for itself in a couple of weeks.

Got to say though, their choice of linked step counters for Android is awful. I have to use Moves. Moves is ok if you carry your phone in your hand but if it's in your pocket and you don't open the damn app every 10 minutes, it changes all your steps to 'Moving Off' and you can't change it back. Also if I walk quickly, it decides I'm cycling - you can change it but it's a pain in the bum. And it drains the battery like crazy. So that's a big negative. Essentially, it's a piece of crap but I can't justify the £100 for a fitbit for a £5 voucher. It says google health is coming soon, but it's been saying that for months. So lack of linked Android apps is a huge negative.

So for the past couple of days I've been out and about exploring a city and doing the tourist thing. The city is in the UK and I have full 4g and location tracking is on. The first day DH has 16000 steps on his step counter. I have 7000 because I've been too busy to keep waking the phone up and thus, half my days activities are changed to moving off and I don't get the steps. Same thing the next day only my step count resets to 3000 steps so I don't get any bounts. What use is a step counter that doesn't run well in the background? Hopefully they'll add a better one. I do have map my fitness as well, which is a nice bonus.

I've only ever had 25 points from the reward wheel twice and mostly it's 5 points. I usually get 5 points once a day, using premium plus membership it's 3 points per activity, and I usually log 4-6 per day. I've never had a huge win though but an extra 5 points adds up.

  • DH has got Android (he hasn't signed up yet) but that's a bit carp that they don't have many step counters to choose from. I know he's got some sort of step counter on his phone (as it registered that we did over 20000 steps when we were in London!) but I don't know what it is? Will have to check and see if that is on the list.

I was going to upgrade to the premium membership, but I'm not sure it's worth it for me, as some days I don't even do anywhere near 7000!

Good to hear that the vouchers come through fairly quickly!

With the mapmyfitness app, do you have to click on 'start workout' and then 'finish workout' after at least 20 minutes, and that's it? Still feel like I'm missing something or doing something wrong as the points still aren't going on.
