Parking Charge for stopping on Private Road

JohnRoberts
Hi All,
I have read some of the advice to Newbie members and am still taking it all in. However, things have now become a little time critical I think and would appreciate some advice.
Our local Train station has a Turning Circle where you can drop off people. To get to the turning circle, you have to go through a Private road, which is signed as private and has the usual board at the beginning of the road re fines etc. There are also 6 public parking spaces for parking a max of 15 or 30 mins, opposite a Tesco Express on this short stretch of road.
The station is being updated due to Cross Rail, and the turning circle has been closed. There is a notice to this effect at the beginning of the road. This means people go down this road and then have to turn round with a 3 point turn and stop to drop off passengers.
The parking company became aware of the turning circle closing and decided to post their operatives with mobile phone cameras to catch anyone stopping and dropping off passengers.
I am the latest victim. I received a Postal Notification of Parking Charge, which I ignored, then received a Parking Charge - Keeper Liability. They have obtained my details from the DVLA.
The company is PCM - Parking Control Management (UK) Ltd in Slough.
On advice i read on the internet, I ignored this as well. I have now received two identical letters sent at the same time, from DRP Debt Recovery Plus Ltd. Demanding £160 (gone up from the original £100, discounted to £60). The alleged offence is ; breach of the contractual terms and conditions: "Parked outside of a marked bay / on restricted roadway / landscaped / paved areas or causing an obstruction or inconvenience to other.
There are two photos taken in quick succession without time stamps and I have been invited to look at the pictures on their web site on the second letter, which I have not done so yet.
Now the 3rd & 4th Letter from the debt company DRP, highlights the supreme court - landmark decision on 4th Nov 2015 in favour of a parking operator.
supremecourt.uk/cases/uksc-2015-0116.html
Apparently, if i don't pay by 28 Jan 2016, they will recommend to the creditor that court action should be taken.
Any suggestions / comments please..
Thank you.
Robert.

However, now that I have been ignoring it and only have a day left to respond according to DRP, can someone tell me please if I can still appeal and do I need to appeal or should I now just ignore the DRP letters. is there a chance of them issuing court proceedings?0
