The 4g bands wont work on the "main" uk 4g band 20 (800mhz), nor the high speed band 7 (2600mhz) but looks to support the refarmed 2g band (band 3 1800mhz)

Also lenovo have a terrible reputation for spyware being installed on their chinese market handsets.

Exactly so. I've known many phones with that feature that have never had a single update available.
