WantToBeSe: They usually do huge savings on a day called Cyber Monday which is an american trend and is the first monday of December each year.

I would hold off until then and see if you can nab a bargain

I saw this on HDUK. Enter code MCARD5OFF at checkout.
It looks like only items sold by amazon are eligible.
I've just bought a bottle of perfume and it worked fine.

Have to use MasterCard and can only be for stuff sold and despatched by Amazon not other sellers on their site...


Just enter MCARD5OFF at checkout - on the final page after selecting MasterCard as payment method..

I received an email from Amazon saying this:

"Dear Amazon.co.uk Customer,

Get £5 for yourself when you buy at least £20 in Amazon Gift Cards on Amazon.co.uk by 31 January, 2015.

Enter qualifying code "XXXXXX" when you check out with your £20 gift card purchase, to qualify for the £5 promotional code.

You will receive the £5 promotional code by e-mail within 5 days of your gift card purchase."

I don't ever use vouchers/codes etc as I am very wary of them. Just so I'm clear, if I am reading the small print right, I can buy a £20 voucher for my own use which can be for the next 10 years and I get a fiver for my own use?

Is that the deal or am I missing something?

I have done this and the £5 code they give you is only valid against items sold and fulfilled by Amazon only (no third party sellers).

The £5 code also as to be used within a short period I think within around 2 months.

The £20 code is valid for 10 years.

The £20 Gift card I picked the email version and sent it to a family member. But I suppose you could add it to your own account.
