Morning all, thanks for starting us off Ally :hello: and you, yorkshirelass and all that follow. I know what you mean about washing YL - it's too mild to have heating on but not warm enough to dry outside :o

    My list for today:
    Check bank
    Check surveys
Packed lunch for dd2, meals from stores
Working from home, no commute :j
    Run for free
    One thing from January list
Continue the great giant washing shuffle :rotfl:
Get meat out of freezer to cook in sc tomorrow as my folks are coming over, may get ys pie out too

Think that's about all, have a good day

I've also taken something back for a refund
Went to cash and carry and got a few bits I needed
Donated 3 things to my godson as part of the de clutter process

Just off to finalise tax return. I don't know why I put it off to the end of the time period allowed.

Cat - just make sure you take care of yourself you can only do what you can do. I appreciate it easier said than done.

    Afternoon lovely peeps :)

Just bought some ys swiss rolls from C0op, do you think they'd freeze ok? just thinking about the creamy bit??

Well done on your weight loss LegoMum that's great! It's a tricky one that..cream isn't the best for freezing as it can seperate and go grainy and taste odd. However I'm guessing it isn't real cream in the Swiss roll so I'd say go for it.

    List for today:
Planning a visit to the local garden centre to look for a bigger pot for my patio quince tree, some compost and some winter wash for the fruit trees - so not a NSD today. Well, it was pouring with rain by the time we got there, and what with that and the prices  we didn't buy anything. I had a look online and ordered a nice pot for about half the cost delivered of the garden centre ones, albeit plastic as opposed to terracotta (that was all they had, not a great selection in the size I need). Got the winter wash stuff ordered from ebay as well :)

Dog walks x 2 (will get OH to do one :)) Sadly he only got the one walk today, as the weather has been atrocious
    Check banks Still to do
HM meals from stores - making curry today :)Used some cubed turkey, ginger and lemongrass from the freezer, together with the dregs of a jar of curry paste and veg from the fridge that needed using up, a tin each of tomatoes and coconut milk :) Made a big curry to feed me for the next two nights as well (OH going away)
Buy bananas, apples and cooking foil while out As OH is away from tomorrow, and I am joining him at the weekend, I didn't bother to buy these today, as we can do without for a bit longer :)
Sort out and clean at least one cupboard Done :)
Dust the furniture (didn't get to this yesterday :o) Oops not done it again today either :o
Pull out more chard plants for the chickens Nor this - too wet :(
Maybe tackle the unruly climbing rose that grows over an archway in the garden - it needs pruning and training, but will be a pickle to do because OH has woven it into the archway - it is very prickly :( Depends on whether it stays dry though... Didn't do, rain and high winds stopped play
Put away sales items that I brought home from unit yesterday, before GD appears tomorrow and turns them out :rotfl:Done
    Postal survey tasks Done
Any online surveys, FPL etc Just a couple of surveys for onepoll today

Also chopped and froze a stray yellow pepper that won't get used before the weekend
Made a game pie filling in the SC, which I will also freeze once it is properly cool :)

Legomum (I think it was) I think those Swiss rolls would freeze just fine :)

Off for an early night, as I have baby GD again tomorrow, then a couple of days on my own, then going to DD1's to look after her two kids for the weekend - I do feel a bit like a baby sitting machine sometimes :undecided
  • Ally thank you for starting us off this morning.

It's been a busy few days, where I haven't even manage to read this thread. Nothing special just busy but all done in an MSE way.

I'm off now to catch up on the last few days, well at least as much as I can before 10.30 pm when I am turning the lights out.

Hugs to all and sweet dreams.
