Wow Reality that's amazing I will have to check those sites out! I always found on the ones I used in the past I wasn't often in the demographic they were looking for and the payout was rubbish in comparison to yours
I can't believe you only have 7 weeks left! I am an August baby too which I love because my birthday was always in the summer holidays. Did you have a nice time away? Rx

You are doing well RC. As your dad seems happy to wait only having around £2k debt as you go on maternity leave seems sensible. I would also focus on keeping a small amount in savings for emergencies.I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free Wannabe, Budgeting and Banking and Savings and Investment boards. I think they must have got better because I remember looking at them before and they were about 30p for 45 minutes!! I had one the other day and paid £16, can you believe it, I couldn't lol. Aww were you, yeah I'm looking forward to having a summer baby, all the tiny little baby clothes for summer are so cute!! Yeah I had a great time thanks, all I did was eat and sunbathe, which I can't blame on pregnancy as probably all I would have done anyway! Well, with lots of wine and cocktails into the mix. It is never as bad coming home when it is sunny, apart from having nothing appropriate to wear!! They got me a fan in work, so I just sit with that on my face all day!!
Thanks ES, I feel like a bit of progress is getting made. I finish in August, but right now we are wokring on Septembers commission so by the time I finish will be onto October, so at least I have until then before my wages go down a bit. I hoping I won't pay as much tax so won't be too horrific.... I am def going to start a bit of savings because I have a busy year coming up. My daughter is 21, she graduates uni, I am braidsmaid at my friends wedding abroad, we have a hen weekend away - and this is all before the end of May!!
I know this is nothing to do with saving money, well it might be as a vegetarian diet must be cheaper, but have a look at this.....I AM TURNING INTO A VEGETARIAN!!

Friday is here again, these weeks are flying in, well the year is - can't believe it is July in basically one week!! Having a cheap and cheerful weekend, spent £63 (pre-paid card from work) in Sainsburys last night, but feel like I got loads for my money, especially with reduced mince, beef joint, turkey mince and fish that all went into the freezer. Also got deodrant, shower gel and lots of cleaning stuff. The quality of fruit and veg always seem better, but probbaly just in my head. Having 2 lots of couples over for dinner tonight, normally we would get a takeaway but I said i didn't mind cooking so making some spag bol to save me spending any money. I'm not drinking, obviously, we have wine at home, OH is going to get beer and to be honest they will all probably bring more than they will drink anyway so we don't even need to get anything but always like to just incase.
This weekend we, well really Mr Marine, are building everything for our nursery!! I am hopeless and normally keep well out the way of the frustration of the !!!!!! instruction causing a meltdown in the room!
I am doing SO well with not spending money, even if I do say so myself!! I need a new bronzer which is £34, I am pretty positive I have Boots points that will cover this... I also really need a new face wash but it is £23.50 so going to hold off and use up a horrible Clinque one I got before Christmas - I do not rate this company at all!
Hope you all have great weekends whatever you do xxxStarting debt £18,675.63

Happy Monday....
My bank is getting dangerously low, but just made another £50 payment to Barclays since I didn't spend a penny all weekend. Current balance is £1,800, hoping to get the £800 gone with July's pay + book hotel + spending money for Brighton.
Well, I actually did buy dog food, but this was planned and there was an offer on in the vets where I buy it from where you saved £9 if you bought 2, so only a £9 saving, but a saving is a saving and that's me got enough dog food for the year!
Nearly bought new shampoo and conditoner all because I got an email telling me Look Fantastic had a 1/3 off Redken products. This wasn't in my head until I saw the email and I don't need any! It was in my basket, ready to put card details in, but I have closed the website down, and paid money to the credit card, so I now can't afford to buy it even if I wanted to!
18 days until pay day, I know I shouldn't be wishing my life away, but I am already longing for pay day to hurry up!! xxxStarting debt £18,675.63

I think a lot of people get paid at the end of the month so around the last week there are more mentions of pay day on the boards and it ramps up the 'nearly there but not quite' feeling!
Nice piece of out-manoeuvring the shampoo sales people! Have you unsubbed from the email too?
And I know you say it's 'only' £9 saved on the dog food but actually that's a very handy chunk of money, especially added to all the other things in your post.
If you are really itching for payday, how about a challenge such as making a saving or NSD every day from then till now?I think a bit of sunshine is good for frugal living. (Cranky40)
